Now that the first WeMuv Cross-Country Race is over, it's time to hand out the prizes!
First Prize goes to Ernest Cumberland Elementary School in Alliston, Ontario. They completed the race with a total of 6.6 million steps, and have won an HP Netbook for their school. They were the only participant to cross the finish line and complete the race.
Trenton High School from Trenton, Ontario (1,800,742 steps) and Ecole Ste-Ursule from McGregor, Ontario (1,326,477 steps) were the next best two competitors. They may not have completed the race, but we want to congratulate them on their achievement with $100 and $75 gift certificates from schoolspecialty.ca.
We also want to congratulate the top three racers, all from Ernest Cumberland Elementary: dominater (648,918 steps), rapinc (576,058 steps) and pingloui (554,388). Each of them has been awarded a Chapters/Indigo gift certificate for $10.
